Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) is an Indian NGO committed to nature conservation.
Motto: In Service of Nature
Its mission is to
conserve wildlife and its habitat and
work for the welfare of individual wild animals, in partnership with communities and governments.
WTI has been credited for achieving various conservation milestones, such as recovering the population of critically endangered species, translocation of Species, reducing human-animal conflict, etc.
WTI programmes are supported, among others, by:
Ministry of Environment & Forest, Government of India
Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
State Forest & Wildlife Departments.
