- Context (TOI): Archaeologists have recently discovered Harappan era fortified settlement, Morodharo, where life was flourishing some 4,500 years ago.
- Morodharo is located near the village of Lodrani, approximately 51km from the World Heritage Site of Dholavira in Kutch, Gujarat.
- The Morodharo settlement appears to have thrived during the mature and late phases of the Harappan civilization, from 2,600–1,900 BCE and 1,900–1,300 BCE respectively.
- The site yielded a large quantity of Harappan pottery, similar to those found in Dholavira.
